David is a Chartered Accountant who trained and qualified in PwC before joining Ernst & Young. While in practice he has advised clients ranging in size from sole traders to billion-dollar turnover listed entities.

After this time in practice, David worked as a consultant with accountancy training firm OmniPro, advising accountancy firms on technical accounting, auditing and company law matters.

David is also a qualified engineer and spent several years working for Glanbia in the Agri Food sector before turning his attention to accountancy.

Aidan is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (FCCA) and the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI).

Aidan worked in practice and industry prior to forming O’Gorman Cosgrave & Associates in 2004, and ran this practice very successfully prior to merging the firm with Sheil Kinnear in 2019.

Aidan has extensive expertise in Audit, Financial Accounting, Tax Planning and the preparation of Business Plans & Financial Projections for clients.

Anita is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Irish Tax Institute (ITI).

Her broad experience spans more than 20 years and she is a trusted advisor to many Sheil Kinnear clients.

Anita has particular expertise in audit as well as in tax planning and compliance. She has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the accounting profession and deals with the needs of a broad range of businesses from large groups of companies to small sole traders.

Tim is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Irish Tax Institute (I.T.I.). He served as an I.T.I. council member for 3 years.

Tim’s special interest area is tax and he is particularly experienced in the area of Revenue audits and interventions. During his time as an I.T.I. council member he was heavily involved in representations with Revenue on the formation of the 2010 Code of Practice for a Revenue Audit.

He has lectured extensively on Revenue Audits and related matters at national and regional conferences.

He co-authored the first edition of ‘Revenue Audits and Interventions – the Professional Handbook’ on behalf of I.T.I.

Tim is a native of Rosslare Strand and currently lives in Wexford. He has played soccer for Wexford at representative level and is a member, trustee and past captain of Rosslare Golf Club. He is married to Carmel and has 4 children, Cathy, Stephen, Rory and Brendan.

 

Frances Roche (FCCA) qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1995 having joined Sheil Kinnear in 1990.

Frances has previously worked as a junior partner in the firm. She is particularly experienced in relation to SME, farming and sole trader clients.

Marese is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and the Irish Taxation Institute. The combination of expert knowledge and experience of company law and tax leaves Marese ideally suited to provide a “Cradle to Grave” service to corporate clients including company formation, restructuring, and liquidation. She has been a principal in Sheil Kinnear since 2004.
